What I love about the home

In Smithtown, village of Nesconset, your 4 bedroom 2.5 bath, Shangri-La between NYC and the Hamptons awaits you. This mint updated colonial is 2,116 square feet. On the second floor are four bedrooms (including a master bedroom with a walk in closet and private bathroom with shower), there is an additional bathroom with tub. Access to the attic is by the third bedroom walk-in closet.

The first floor is comprised of a half bath, formal living room and dining room, eat in kitchen with updated appliances, family room with built in library and cozy fireplace. All the rooms have double pane windows and neutral toned walls.

The home is a solid 1972 construction, original owners with modern updates including new windows, vinyl siding and over-sized paved driveway and walkway. The entire property is fenced and offers a double garage, a full basement, an attic, central air, two zone heating, wood floors throughout and a central alarm system. In the spring and summer enjoy the in-ground swimming pool and fenced in half-acre yard, (lot size 20,473 sq ft), outside shower (hot & cold water), bocce court, volleyball and more all in your private garden. The residence is equipped with an in-ground automatic sprinkler system.

My fondest souvenirs as the oldest of three children is having the coolest room with great views of the backyard, my huge walk in closet and direct access to our bathroom. It was almost as if I had my own apartment. I loved spending the holidays with my family, baking Italian treats with my grandmother in the kitchen and spending the summers gardening with my mom. Camping out in the barn with my sister was too cool and playing Marco Polo and Frisbee in the pool with my dad and brother was great fun! I had the best graduation party, barbecues and pool parties in my back yard! After all not many of my friends can say, they had a bocce and volleyball court at their home. I remember the convenience of walking to school and sleigh riding in the winter down the big hill on the grounds of Great Hollow. We often went to the field to play baseball and use the tennis courts. I must admit to receiving a great education, which allowed me to study at a top University and participate in a variety of school sports and clubs. I am sure you will make awesome memories with your family too! - Dineen
